Night Shift has been making some of the best beer in the state for a while now, but they were always just out of reach of our shelves.  Then, just before Christmas, that all changed.  Since bringing them in to the store, we have had over 10 different beers from them.  And you, the consumer, have been enjoying it.  We run through dozens of cases a week and they just keep sending us fresh, hop forward cans as well as funky and sour bottles.

It took a little bit, but we are finally having the Everett brewers in for a tasting.  If you have never tried Night Shift, come down.  We know our beer and are constantly exploring what is out there, so please trust me when I say that they are one of the top breweries in Massachusetts.  Their offeri

We did this back in October and it was a lot of fun.  So much fun that we decided to do it all over again.  December 2nd, starting at 6pm, we will be opening bottles of Sofie and Matilda from this year as well as bottles of Lolita, Juliet, Halia, Madame Rose, and Gillian all from 2015. With wild ales like these, we found that giving them a year to sit and mellow out was the right call, so we’re doing it again.  Keep an eye out for an email in which you can RSVP to.  This was a fun, relaxed tasting in which we had some fun with some very nice, rather expensive beers.  It is a great opportunity to try a $30 bottle of fruit added sour ale without paying the $30 price tag.  It does hurt that instead of one, we will be tasting five.

Previously in 500ml, Jack’s Abby Kiwi Rising, their double IPL with freshly harvested New Zealand hops, will be in 4 pack cans.  It’s an awesome beer, so to celebrate and spread the word, we will have them come in to taste all who pass with this fresh IPL.  Jack’s Hoponius Union is becoming a staple brand for Massachusetts and their Excess IPL, a sister to Kiwi Rising, moves off our shelves constantly.  New Zealand hops have a crisp and clean flavor, so paired with the light body of a lager, Jack’s Abby makes an easy drinking, flavorful IPL.  Come join us Saturday December 3rd, 2-4pm.

“Barbecues are informal affairs, but don’t neglect to consider sufficient seating arrangements. You want your guests to be seated properly as they enjoy their barbeque and wash it down with their beverage of choice. Thus, you should probably be prepared to utilize all of your own tables and chairs, and perhaps consider renting additional tables and chairs to accommodate everyone if need be. We’re afraid we can’t help you with seating arrangements at Colonial Spirits Delivers, but honestly… the food and drink are what’s most important anyway!

Memorial Day weekend is among the most anticipated of American holidays, not only because of its national significance, but also because it marks the unofficial start to summer and is traditionally a weekend for fun with family and friends. If you’re hosting a Memorial Day weekend barbeque this year, don’t forget the above-mentioned tips to ensure this year’s celebration is a memorable one.”

Yuengling Lager is an iconic American Lager. It’s famous for its rich amber color and medium-bodied flavor. With roasted caramel malt for a subtle sweetness and a combination of cluster and cascade hops, this true original delivers a well-balanced taste with a distinct character.

Pretty soon, additional varieties of Yuengling beer will likely hit the shelves of Massachusetts liquor stores. But for now, you can savor the three available choices with a beer delivery to Massachusetts from Colonial Spirits Delivers. Keep your beer-tasting party tasty with nothing but America’s favorite full-flavored lager, Yuengling!
